Purpose
AI assistance is intended to reduce lesson-administration time by organising instructor-provided notes into an editable draft.
Possible outputs
The configured AI service may propose a pupil-facing summary, private note structure, likely skills covered, possible progress changes, a next-lesson plan and relevant Highway Code references.
Human control
AI does not independently grade a pupil, make safety decisions, confirm test readiness or modify progress. The instructor must review, edit and approve any output before saving.
Data minimisation
Only information needed for the requested AI task should be sent. Instructors should avoid unnecessary sensitive information. The production operator must document the selected AI provider, retention settings and contractual safeguards.
Accuracy
AI output may be incomplete or wrong. Official sources and instructor judgement take priority. A manual workflow remains available when AI is disabled or unavailable.
