Trial and renewal: a new instructor account receives 30 days of full access. Paid subscriptions renew automatically through Stripe unless cancellation is scheduled. When entitlement expires, protected functions lock while the workspace data remains stored. Access returns after a valid subscription is linked to the same instructor account and email.

What happens after the 30-day trial?
Protected instructor functions lock unless the account has an active subscription. Saved cloud data is retained so it can be restored unchanged after renewal.
Can pupils book during an unavailable period?
No. The instructor can block a full day, a date range or specific hours. The pupil app and cloud API both reject requests that overlap an unavailable period.
Does AI change a pupil's progress automatically?
No. AI output is a draft. The instructor reviews and edits the summary, selected skills, proposed progress changes and next-lesson plan before saving.
Can I cancel automatic renewal?
Yes. Once a Stripe customer is linked to the account, billing management can be opened from InstructorLane. Cancellation can be scheduled for the end of the paid period without deleting workspace data.
How do I recover my account?
Use the password-recovery option on the sign-in screen. A time-limited secure reset link is sent to the instructor email when the production email service is configured.
