Trial and Subscription Terms
The 30-day trial, monthly and annual billing, automatic renewal, cancellation, payment failure and access rules.
Effective 27 August 2026. Contact InstructorLane support or email [email protected] for service, billing and data-protection enquiries.
Full 30-day trial
A newly created instructor account receives 30 consecutive days of access to the complete core product. No payment is taken automatically when the trial ends. Repeated account creation to avoid payment may be blocked.
Two billing intervals, one product
Monthly billing is £6.99 and annual billing is £64.99. Both include the same features, pupil app and cloud workspace. Annual billing is equivalent to about £5.42 per month and saves £18.89 compared with twelve monthly payments.
One instructor account and unlimited pupils
Each subscription is assigned to one individual instructor account and its email address. It is not a multi-instructor or shared-account licence. The subscribing instructor may create and connect an unlimited number of pupil records for their own normal instruction business without a per-pupil fee, subject to reasonable use, security, storage and technical limits.
Updates and support included
Supported product updates released during an active subscription are included without a separate update fee. Reasonable product and technical support is available through the Contact page. Support does not include bespoke development, third-party device repair, legal advice or guaranteed response times unless separately agreed.
Starting a paid subscription
A subscription is started actively from the instructor account and processed by Stripe. Checkout must show the price, billing interval and renewal basis before payment. The subscription is linked to the instructor account and email used at checkout.
Automatic renewal
Monthly subscriptions renew each month and annual subscriptions renew each year unless future renewal is cancelled. Cancellation should be available through the billing controls or by contacting [email protected]. Cancelling renewal normally leaves access active until the end of the paid period.
Cooling-off and statutory rights
UK consumer cancellation rights apply where relevant and are not excluded. A customer who wants digital service to begin during a statutory cancellation period may be asked to request immediate supply and acknowledge the applicable consequences. Contact [email protected] promptly if you wish to exercise a cancellation right.
Payment failure and paused access
If payment fails or the paid period ends without renewal, protected functions may pause after any applicable grace period. The account and stored workspace remain linked so renewed access can return to the same data, subject to retention and account-closure rules.
Price or term changes
Material changes to price or renewal terms will be communicated before they affect a future payment. A customer may cancel future renewal if they do not wish to continue under changed terms.
Fair billing communication
We aim to provide clear trial-ending, renewal and payment-failure notices and a straightforward online route to stop future renewal. These terms will be updated when the UK subscription-contract regime comes into force or other legal requirements change.
