A short explanation of what LearnerLane stores, who can see it and how to ask for help.

What LearnerLane is
LearnerLane is a private app that connects you with your driving instructor. It can show lessons, progress, booking requests, messages and payment information your instructor shares with you.
What we know about you
We use the minimum details needed to connect you to the right instructor and protect your account. Your instructor may add lesson records. We also use technical security information to keep the service working and stop misuse.
Who sees it
Your paired instructor and authorised people at their driving school can see the relevant record. Other learners should not see it. We do not sell your information and the reported app does not use advertising profiling.
AI
Your instructor can choose an optional AI tool to help draft part of a lesson record. It is off by default. Your instructor must check the draft and remains responsible for any record they keep. AI does not automatically decide your progress.
Your choices
You can ask what information is held, correct it, and ask for deletion or another privacy right where the law applies. A parent or trusted adult can help, but they do not automatically receive your whole lesson record. Use the deletion page or email [email protected]. If you feel unsafe, stop messaging and use a safe support channel. In an emergency, contact the emergency services.
