Who handles your information
InstructorLane and LearnerLane are currently offered under the InstructorLane trading name. The contracting operator is TRANSAD HAULAGE LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 11689858, with its registered office at 33 Atlas Street, Ashton-under-Lyne, United Kingdom, OL7 9BB. Privacy enquiries can be sent to [email protected].
Your instructor or driving school normally decides how lesson records are used to teach you. We normally store and display those records on its instructions. We separately control the limited information needed to secure the platform, operate support and meet our own legal duties.
What the app uses
LearnerLane uses a private pairing and the identifiers needed to connect you to the correct instructor workspace. Depending on the enabled features, you may see your name, planned and completed lessons, progress, notes shared with you, balances and payment instructions. You may send booking requests and messages. The service also processes proportionate connection, device and security information.
Who can see it
Your paired instructor and authorised school staff can access the relevant workspace. Other learners should not see your records. Suppliers provide hosting, storage, push delivery and support functions as described in the service-provider list.
AI and profiling
LearnerLane has no learner-facing AI control. An instructor may choose optional AI drafting in InstructorLane for a lesson record only under an appropriate lawful basis and safeguards. An instructor reviews every draft. There is no advertising profiling in the reported RC.
Your controls and rights
Disconnecting a device or pairing stops future access through that connection but does not automatically erase the instructor's professional lesson record. Use the deletion page or email [email protected] to ask about access data or to have a request routed safely to the instructor. Rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability.
If you are under 18
We apply high privacy settings, minimise sharing and do not use advertising profiling. Read the shorter Young People's Privacy Notice. If a message or pairing makes you feel unsafe, stop using it and contact a trusted adult or support through a safe channel. Do not use the app for emergencies.
